dreams that change the world
My dream for this book is that it would change the way we think about dreams. I hope I can save my kids and those of their generation from making the same mistakes I did. I hope I can inspire folk older than me not to give up on dreams that may have died, but to look at them differently. I hope that we, as a society, would shift towards celebrating the right kind of dreamers. We think we are dreaming big, but I argue we’re actually dreaming small. We need to learn how to dream bigger than our ‘big’ dreams.

Dreaming big starts with three steps
Surrender
Surrender is a chosen emptying, not so much of what you have, but of what you think you have, but can never really own.
Outward looking motives not only free a dream to be larger than ourselves, they also prevent it from benefitting only us, while causing pain to others.
Coming to an intimate understanding of your identity allows you to know what you can contribute. It helps you to refine your dreams and to make them fit with who you are.

Feedback on Thomas's writing.
I’m definitely a reader... however, [Thomas's] writing draws me in each time, and grips me right to the end! [He has] a gift!!! No doubt about that. [Thomas] reflects deeply on moments that most of us would dismiss as unimportant; then, has a knack of retelling those simple moments in a manner that reveals the treasure that lies within.
I found it a riveting read. I love your willingness to be vulnerable, willing to expose and question your heart’s motives…. I think this is the way to truly learn for the next step on the journey. There is something here for all of us to examine in our own journeys.
